BITS ETC's objective is to provide beneficial therapy for all those who need it, and making it free of charge. So many cannot afford the wonderful experiences that our therapy horses can provide for those with disabilities. To see how an autistic child - who doesn't otherwise talk - give verbal commands to his horse; to watch the posture of a disabled adult transform once on a horse; to share the joy and pride a girl with Down Syndrome experiences in grooming a horse and receiving a gentle nicker... We want everyone to have these experiences. You can help us achieve that wish. Please consider supporting our organization using any of the options below. Thank you.
Okay, even those of us who work/volunteer at BITS all have that one horse that’s “our favorite” (Shhh – don’t tell the other horses!). It won’t surprise us if you have a favorite, too. Now you can help BITS by sponsoring one of your equine friends.
You can sponsor a horse at BITS for a gift of $800 per month, which will help cover the costs of hay, vet care, chiropractor, grain, etc. Your name will be posted on the stall door of your adopted horse and our website with our thanks!

Properly caring for our hard-working horses requires LOTS of supplies. The ongoing cost for these supplies is where a significant amount of our funding goes. Help our youth face the mental health crisis by sponsoring a youth in our SOAR program! This sponsorship will help an at-risk youth get the mental health counseling and therapeutic riding they need, arming them with tools to address any mental health challenges they may face.

BITS teamed up with GlobalGiving.com to help fund our mental health programs. COVID has taken its toll on everyone, whether physically, emotionally or financially. Back In The Saddle Equine Therapy Center is no exception. We are working harder than ever to help our community combat depression, anxiety and loss. As the number of people that need our help grows the prices of everything we need to deliver our services continue to climb. The cost of feeding our horses has risen 190% and our vet expenses have risen 195%. We need your help to support BITS in any way you can.
By making a recurring donation in any amount to Back In The Saddle YOU will help us greatly improve the life of a child and our horses. If we can get 1,000 people to donate $10 a month we will not only be able to feed our herd of hard working horses, we will be able to provide, in some cases life saving services, to our clients that are struggling greatly with the effects of COVID.
We continue to strive to make our therapeutic riding lessons free or low cost to as many clients as possible, but we need YOUR help. We have a new project up on GlobalGiving.com for those who would like to help us achieve this goal.
